Simple skillet meals are perfect for busy weeknights, and this hearty combo will definitely satisfy!
Ingredients
- 4 Italian sausages
- 2 cups cooked rice
- 2 bell peppers, sliced
- 1 sliced onion
- 1 tbsp Italian seasoning
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 can tomato sauce (398ml)
- 1 tbsp oil
Directions
- Prepare rice as per directions
- Cook sausage (BBQ, air fryer, or in pan with veggies)
- Heat oil in pan
- Saute peppers and onions.
- Add garlic and Italian seasoning and cook until onions are translucent.
- Add can of tomato sauce
- Slice cooked sausage and combine with tomato and veggie mixture
- Add 2 cups of cooked rice
- Serve
