Italian Sausage & Peppers Skillet

Simple skillet meals are perfect for busy weeknights, and this hearty combo will definitely satisfy!

Ingredients

  • 4 Italian sausages
  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 2 bell peppers, sliced
  • 1 sliced onion
  • 1 tbsp Italian seasoning
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 can tomato sauce (398ml)
  • 1 tbsp oil

Directions

  1. Prepare rice as per directions
  2. Cook sausage (BBQ, air fryer, or in pan with veggies)
  3. Heat oil in pan
  4. Saute peppers and onions.
  5. Add garlic and Italian seasoning and cook until onions are translucent.
  6. Add can of tomato sauce
  7. Slice cooked sausage and combine with tomato and veggie mixture
  8. Add 2 cups of cooked rice
  9. Serve
