Follow Kaitlyn’s Gluten Free Kitchen on Social Media

You’ve just started a gluten free diet. It’s hard. You’re struggling. There’s so much information, misinformation, and seemingly conflicting information. You’re overwhelmed and seeking help.
I see you. I was you. It gets better.
I want to share with you the single most valuable thing that I wish I had known from the beginning.
Be patient and compassionate with yourself!
I would tell you to read the labels, but you clearly know that already. You’re learning a new way to eat.
Food is more than something we put in our bellies. It’s comfort, it’s culture, it’s socially connecting, and it’s a huge freakin’ change!
If it feels clunky it’s because you’re doing it right.
You will get there.
For the first bit you’ll be learning something new every day. Take your time, trust your gut (literally) and take it one day at a time.
Even though it’s hard, you have survived 100% of your hard days to date, so you have proven you are capable of hard things.
I wish you all the best on your healing journey. The best is yet to come.
